I created an immersive swamp installation at Portland Tropical Gardens that was continuously open to the public for two days. The run time was 12 minutes, and one visitor fell asleep. Pink Moon (Pink Moon, April 2018, Allyce Andrews photo credit) Pink Moon is a platonic intimacy project that integrates plant history, mindfulness, and audio tracks designed for a specific group of friends. Guests listen in headsets and read hidden poetry throughout the space or park chosen. This is me facilitating a group grounding exercise at the Volunteer Park Conservatory.
Perfect Creature Installation at Rocket Dog Rescue Oakland Dog Fashion Show, repurposed wedding decorations from craigslist, fresh and fake flowers, two box fans, mat, pillows, peanut butter, jade roller, and headset. Owners sat in installation with their dog listening to an ASMR track in a headset while externally ASMR was playing that only dogs could hear. Peanut butter, gentle fans, and a jade roller were available to the owner to soothe their pet. Rescued Pitbull and his owner embrace in the Dog ASMR installation so that the dog could take a break from the stimulation inside the event.
